Buffering Overflow in C

The compiler generates the stack smashing detected error in responce to its defence mechanism against buffer overflows. A buffer overvlof occurs when the user input exceeds the buffer capacity. As we can see in the code, the stack smashing detected error happens when a user provide more than 8 characters.

Buffering Overflow in Python

The first run of Overflow.py

Pylist is a python library that helps to debug errors in the code. It can:
a) list errors after executing python code
b) support coding standards and helps to avoid potential errors and bugs.
c) suggest how the code can be improved / updated
d) offers details about code's complexity

In the exercise I got several errors:
a) Overflow.py:4:0: C0303: Trailing whitespace (trailing-whitespace) - there is whitespace between the end of a line and the newline.
b) Overflow.py:5:0: C0304: Final newline missing (missing-final-newline) - when the last line in a file is missing a newline.
c) Overflow.py:1:0: C0103: Module name "Overflow" doesn't conform to snake_case naming style (invalid-name) - is used when the name doesn’t conform to naming rules associated to its type (constant, variable, class…).
d) Overflow.py:1:0: C0114: Missing module docstring (missing-module-docstring) - it is used when a module has no docstring.

Solutions:
in the file Overflow.py:
1) line 4 there are 4 spaces - they should be removed.
2) there should be one additional empty line 6.
3) the name of the module should be lowercase ''overflow.py''
4) a docstring should be added.
